Mrs. Jenkins was born in Norfolk. She was a lifelong resident of the Tidewater area. She was the widow of Gladstone D. Jenkins and attended Fairmount Park Methodist Church for many years.
{REST} Survivors include a daughter, Rosalie Keller of White Sulphur Springs, W.Va.; a son, Gladstone D. Jenkins Jr. of Virginia Beach; a sister, Elizabeth S. Edwards of Bowie, Md.; five grandchildren, Aleta Johnston of Virginia Beach, Clifford Jenkins of Kill Devil Hills, N.C. and Victoria Keller, Lewis Keller Jr. and John Keller, all of Palm Beach, Fla.; and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery by Father Charles Fisher and Father Charles Smithers. Friends may visit the family at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, tonight from 7 to 8 p.m.
