ELIZABETH F. ROPER

{LEAD} Elizabeth Fritts Roper, 73, formerly of the 8000 block of Ridgefield Drive, Norfolk, born March 7, 1921 in Beverly, Kan., died Monday, June 6, 1994 in Fairfax, Va.

She was a Norfolk resident of 30 years. For the last year resided at Westminister at Lake Ridge Retirement Community, Lake Ridge, Va. She was a member of Calvin Presbyterian Church, a former Circle member and moderator of Presbyterian Women. She was honored last year by a reception recognizing 25 years of service as church librarian.

{REST} She is survived by a daughter, Penelope Alice Kaske of Fairfax; five grandchildren, Kristine L. and Nicholas N. Kaske of Fairfax, Elizabeth A. Roper of Boston, Mass., Thomas A. and William A. Roper of Biddeford, Maine, and many friends. She was predeceased by a son, Ralph Lee Roper, and her husband, Dean A. Roper.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 9, 2:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial service Thursday at 7 p.m. at Calvin Presbyterian Church, Little Creek and Nancy. The family suggest donations to the American Cancer Society.
