JOHN A. WILLIAMS SR.

{LEAD} John A. Williams Sr. of the 2600 block of King Court a laborer, died June 5, 1994, in a local hospital.

Mr. Williams was born in Richmond. He was the widower of Chloe Williams and was a member of Bethel Apostolic Church. He was a Navy veteran.

{REST} Survivors include three daughters, Margie Batts Mitchell and Linda J. Mitchell, both of Norfolk, and Goldie M. Williams of Chesapeake; a son, John Williams Jr. of Newport News; a sister, Veretta Leach of Virginia Beach; and five grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in Metropolitan Funeral Service, Norfolk, by Elder John Savage. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will assemble at 1080 Bland St., Norfolk, on Thursday at 11 a.m. for funeral processional to the chapel.
