Mrs. Jenkins was a native of Elizabeth City, N.C. She was the widow of W. Crawford Jenkins Sr. and was a member of Freemason Street Baptist Church in Norfolk. She was a charter member of Larchmont Book Club.
{REST} Survivors include two daughters, Martha J. Prosser of Lakeland, Fla., and Eugenia J. Jett of Gloucester County, Va.; a son, W. Crawford Jenkins Jr. of Norfolk; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Wayne T. Blythe. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
