Mrs. Parrott was a native of Washington, D.C. She retired from The Hub Clothing Store where she was employed from 1948 to 1973. She was a member of Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church in Norfolk.
{REST} Survivors include four grandchildren, Mercer C. Parrott III and Edward W. Parrott of Atlanta, G. Fountain Parrott III of Philadelphia and Marianne P. Hay of Huntington Valley, Pa.; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Dr. John R. Monroe. The family will receive friends in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, Friday evening from 6 to 7 p.m.
