RABA T. FUTRELL

{LEAD} Raba Taylor Futrell, 83, died Wednesday, June 8, 1994, in Southampton Memorial Hospital in Franklin, Va.

Mrs. Futrell was a native of Northampton County and was the widow of Ray E. Futrell of Severan. A well-known educator, Mrs. Futrell taught in the Northampton County School System for over 50 years. She was a member of Severan Baptist Church.

{REST} Survivors include one daughter, Leah F. Sowers of Severan, N.C.; one granddaughter, Elizabeth M. Goodwin of Windsor, Va.; one grandson, Buddy Goodwin of Windsor; one great-grandson, Allen Goodwin of Windsor; and one great-granddaughter, Carol Ann Goodwin of Windsor.

Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in Severan Cemetery by the Rev. Jack Burnette. Memorial contributions may be made to the Conway-Severan Resque Squad. Bridgers Funeral Home of Conway is handling the arrangements.
