ROBERT A. HAISLIP SR.

{LEAD} Robert Allison Haislip, Sr., 51, of the 5300 block of Greenbrook Drive, died June 8, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.

He was a native of Portsmouth and currently employed as a supervisor for Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was president of Simonsdale Teen Club.

{REST} He was beloved father to Robert A. Haislip, Jr. of New York City, N.Y. and Brandon S. Haislip of Portsmouth. Other survivors include his fiancee, Terry Andrews, of Portsmouth and her two sons, Brett and Todd; his mother, Dorothy Mae Sutton Haislip of Chesapeake; a sister, Frances S. Alexander, and a brother, N. Diggs Haislip, both of Portsmouth; and aunts and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Jones of Suffolk, Va., and Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Sutton of Victorville, Calif.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by Dr. Melvin S. Hester. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
