BRAINERD H. WALLACE

{LEAD} Brainerd Huber Wallace, 81, of West Norcova Drive, a retired officer, died June 9, 1994, in a local hospital.

Mr. Wallace was born in Princess Anne County. He retired from Virginia National Bank after 45 years and was a member of Ferebee-Halstead Memorial United Methodist Church, United Methodist Men and Wesley Bible Class.

{REST} Survivors include his wife, Gladys W. Wallace; three sons, Arthur L. Wallace of Norfolk, Stephen R. Wallace of Virginia Beach and Rev. Kenneth P. Wallace of Richmond, Va.; a sister, Evelyn W. Horton of Norfolk; and two grandchildren, Joshua David Wallace and Amanda K. Wallace, both of Richmond, Va.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at Ferebee-Halstead Memorial United Methodist Church by the Rev. D. Glen Langston and the Rev. Jack Scott. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to Ferebee-Halstead Memorial United Methodist Church, 1520 Halstead Ave., Norfolk, Va. 23502.
