BABY DIED FROM INTERNAL INJURIES

{LEAD} Police reported Thursday that Calabe E. Urban, the 10-month-old boy who was found unconscious Wednesday at his parents' apartment in the 900 block of Mason Creek Road, died as a result of internal injuries.

Police and rescue crews responded to a call from the baby's mother and stepfather.

{REST} Police said Denise Hall, a 911 operator, stayed on the line and coached the couple - Donna and Christopher Savage - in cardiopulmonary resuscitation until an ambulance arrived. The boy was pronounced dead on arrival at DePaul Medical Center.

The Norfolk Police Department's homicide squad and other agencies are investigating. No charges have been filed.
