IFE OPENS MUSIC THEATER

{LEAD} International Family Entertainment Inc., the Virginia Beach-based parent of The Family Channel, said Friday it will open a planned 1,000-seat Great American Entertainment music theater in Charleston, S.C., in December. IFE had disclosed at its annual shareholders' meeting several weeks ago that it was building the theater, its fourth in South Carolina. IFE plans to open a similar theater in Hampton Roads in the next year, but it hasn't said where.
