L. GENE GRANT

{LEAD} Lyman Eugene Grant, 48, of Route 1, died June 10, 1994, as the result of an automobile accident.

A native of Lenoir County, he was the owner and operator of Grant's Texaco and Tire Co. and Grant's Restaurant, both in Hobbsville and Gatesville Auto and Tire Co. in Gatesville.

{REST} Survivors include his wife, Linda Liles Grant; two sons, Jamey Grant and Tyler Grant, both of the home; his mother, Lucille Grant of Eure; and one sister, Brenda Kilbourn of Bristol, Tenn.

The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. today in Damascus Christian Church, Sunbury, by the Rev. Bobby Hewitt and the Rev. Riddick Pearce. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, in charge of arrangements. Friends may join the family at the residence.
