KEEP IT UP, JOHN

{LEAD} I want you to know just how much I appreciate your new editorial page editor, John A. Barnes. Your paper was so far to the left that I attempted to subscribe to the Daily Press, only to find it unavailable in my area.

I have found that ``politically correct'' liberals are very intolerant of opposing opinions. They fear the free expression of truth because truth always exposes error. Note their recent attempt to resurrect the so-called ``fairness doctrine'' in order to silence those with whom they disagree on the radio.

{REST} Keep up the good work, John. It's time we had balance on the editorial page after all those years of liberal, socialistic hogwash.
