EMORY F. CAUSEY

{LEAD} Emory F. Causey, 83, lifelong resident of Norfolk, died June 11, 1994, in a nursing home.

Mr. Causey was born in Norfolk. He had retired from Naval Bureau of Standards at N.A.S. Norfolk. He was a member of Colonial Avenue United Methodist Church, Moose Lodge No. 898 and past president of the Norfolk Astronomy Club. He was active in the Swim Club at the Jewish Community Center.

{REST} Survivors include a brother, Daniel W. Causey Jr. of Norfolk; three nephews, Daniel W. Causey III of Norfolk, Leighton E. Causey Jr. and Morris J. Causey, both of Poquoson; two great-nieces; and four great-nephews.

The funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. James O'Quinn. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
