ADDISON A. KING

{LEAD} Addison A. King of the 3400 block of East River Road died June 9 in South Regional Medical Center.

Mr. King was born in Norfolk, Va., and was a writer for the Journal & Guide, Afro-American and Pittsburg Courier Newspapers. He was a member of St. Stevens Episcopal Church in Petersburg, Va., and was very active in church activities and community services.

{REST} Survivors include his wife, Hermione Hughes Carter King; two daughters, Patricia King Wilkins and Frieda Lacy, both of Washington, D.C.; a brother, David King of Norfolk; three grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Roger Wilkins.

A memorial service was conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Stevens Episcopal Church. Rev. John T.W. Hermon officiating. James M. Wilkerson Funeral Est., 102 South Ave., Petersburg, Va., 732-8911, is handling arrangements. Information provided by E.A. Hughes Funeral Home, Norfolk.
