GEORGE P. DUPORT

{LEAD} George Parks Duport, 70, a retired superintendent of Peninsula Memorial Park, died June 11, 1994, in Newport News.

Mr. Duport was born in New York City. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a former treasurer of the board of directors for the St. James Place Homeowners Association.

{REST} Survivors include his wife, Eva M. Duport; two daughters, Kathleen M. Drewry of Franklin, Va., and Anita A. Nicotra of Newport News; one son, George P. Duport of Chesapeake; and seven grandchildren, Peter Ryan, Cliff R. Ryan, Douglas S. Duport, Laurie D. Duport, Patricia L. Duport, Paul G. Donadio II and Sherree N. Donadio.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Tower of Memorial Chapel, Peninsula Memorial Park, by the Rev. Clarence Hilling, with military honors. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Riverside Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 303 Butler Farm Road, Suite 106-A, Hampton, Va. 23666.
