LONNIE B. BIVENS

{LEAD} Lonnie B. Bivens of the 1800 block of Willoughby Ave., a custodian, died June 11, 1994, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Mr. Bivens was born in Marshville, N.C. He was employed with Old Dominion University and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

{REST} Survivors include three sisters, Virginia Davis of Monroe, N.C., and Asiellie Osborne and Levoria Durham, both of Maryland; and four brothers, Romie Bivens of Portsmouth, George Bivens of Long Island, N.Y., Albert Bivens Sr. of Norfolk and Javan Bivens of Marshville, N.C.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Antioch Baptist Church by the Rev. Dr. I. Joseph Williams. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. today. The family will assemble at 531 W. 37th St. at noon Thursday for the processional. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
