{LEAD} Marjory D. Souder, 69, of the 5100 block of Lake Shore Road, died June 13, 1994, in Virginia Beach.

Mrs. Sounder was born in Mindenmines, Mo. She was a member of Little Creek Amphibious Base Chapel.

{REST} Survivors include her husband, Capt. Charles L. Souder, CEC, USN (Ret.); one daughter, Pamela K. Souder of Knoxville, Tenn.; one son, Chris Souder of Virginia Beach; her mother, Elizabeth Lapping of Cherokee, Kan.; four sisters, Electa Blundell of Satanta, Kan., Myrtle Mishler of Joplin, Mo., Ruth Winslow of Tulsa, Okla., and Ruby Hough of Fairfax ; three brothers, Tom Lapping of Cherokee, Kan., Joe Lapping of Emporia, Kan., and Wayne Lapping of Joplin, Mo.; and three grandchildren.

A graveside service, with entombment, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum by Chaplain J. Robert Pipkin. The family will receive friends at Capt. and Mrs. Souder's residence, 5181 Lake Shore Road, from 6 to 8 p.m. today. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is handling arrangements. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Tidewater AIDS Crisis Taskforce (TACT), 740 Duke St., Norfolk, Va. 23510.
