VIOLA C. FEREBEE

{LEAD} Viola C. Ferebee, 85, of the 200 block of Median Circle, died June 13, 1994, in Portsmouth General Hospital.

Mrs. Ferebee was born in Tarboro, N.C. She was a member of Community United Presbyterian Church, U.S.A., Portsmouth, and the Senior Choir; Margaret Francis Chapter (NU)101, Order of Eastern Star; and president, The Community Garden Club (Victory Manor) District 1, Garden Clubs, Virginia.

{REST} Survivors include her husband, William O. Ferebee Sr.; one son, William O. Ferebee Jr. of Portsmouth; and two brothers, Otis Cofield of New York and John Cofield of Norfolk.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Community United Presbyterian Church, U.S.A., Portsmouth, by the Rev. James Compton Ramsawh. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday in Corprew Funeral Home. The body will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. Friday.
