ELIZABETH N. GARNETT

{LEAD} Mary Elizabeth Norfleet Garnett, 74, of the 100 block of Military Road, died June 14, 1994, in her home.

A native of Suffolk, she was the daughter of the late William Joseph and Mary Morris Norfleet. Mrs. Garnett was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church.

{REST} Survivors include her husband, Wallace B. Garnett; one daughter, Martha Westbrook of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two sons, Lewis Henry Garnett of Portsmouth and Muscoe Norfleet Garnett of Suffolk; one sister, Lucy Norfleet Garnett of Suffolk; three grandchildren, Lewis Henry Garnett IV, Charles Holt Westbrook and Elizabeth Garnett Westbrook; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Cedar Hill Cemetery by the Rev. T. Floyd Irby. The family will receive visitors in their home today from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Nansemond-Suffolk Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 1515, Suffolk, Va. 23434. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
