Mrs. Jackson was born in Norfolk and was a member of Charity United Methodist Church, Virginia Beach. She was the widow of Haywood Daniel Jackson.
{REST} Survivors include a son-in-law, Wane Truett of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Delbert Parker of Virginia Beach and Henry Cason of Florida; two grandsons, Steven Truett of Gulf Breeze, Fla., and Bo Truett of West Seneca, N.Y.; two granddaughters, Cheri Doss of Chesapeake and Jacqui Stover of Virginia Beach; and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral was conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. Wayne Sawyer and the Rev. Robert Carpenter. Burial was in Charity United Methodist Church Cemetery, Virginia Beach. The family received friends at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
