LINWOOD F. PULLEN

{LEAD} Linwood Franklin Pullen, 65, of the 3500 block of Orange St., a retired machinist, died June 16, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.

Mr. Pullen was born in Rappahannock County, Va., and was retired from the Naval Air Station after 17 years. He was a member and trustee of Bethany Freewill Baptist Church and was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge (NU)39 and the Thalia Thumpers Square Dance Club.

{REST} Survivors include his wife, Louise Pullen of Norfolk; two sons, Roger Lynn Pullen of Virginia Beach and Ronald Franklin Pullen of Vancouver, Wash.; seven sisters, Kathleen Nicholson, Thelma Jeffries, Linda Corder, Deborah Whimmer of Front Royal, Va., Shelby Welch of Flint Hill, Va., Lucille Settle of Manassas, Va., and Annabelle Sadowski of Norfolk; one brother, Cecil Pullen of Flint Hill; and seven grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Bethany Freewill Baptist Church by the Rev. R. Randall Riggs. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Donations may be made to Bethany Freewill Baptist Church.
