WILLIAM J. JONES

{LEAD} William J. ``Tugg'' Jones of the 3000 block of Barberry Lane, died June 15, 1994.

Mr. Jones was born in Princess Anne County and was a member of New St. John AME Church, Virginia Beach.

{REST} Survivors include his wife, Geneva H. Jones; three daughters, Shirley Smith of Virginia Beach and Evelyn Jones and Queenie Jordan, both of Norfolk; two sisters, Bessie Gordon of Norfolk and Nancy Simmons of Virginia Beach; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in New St. John AME Church by the Rev. E.H. Terrell Jr. Burial will be in Jones Memorial Park. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
