The only Virginia drivers entered in the race are Stephen Durham of Williamsburg and Joe Ferebee of Parksley.
{REST} Drivers in Langley's regular five divisions also will resume their pursuit of championships following last week's rainout.
Norfolk's Phil Warren trails Hampton's Buddy Malish by 15 points in the Late Model Stock division. Charlie Bryant of Portsmouth leads the Limited Stock division by 14 points over Newport News' Kevin Adams. Mike McVaugh also has a 14-point lead over Norfolk's Roger Bress in Grand Stock.
Racing is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., following time trials.
Raceway officials said the program will be run Sunday afternoon, beginning at 3:30, if it is postponed by the weather.
AT SOUTHAMPTON: Southampton Speedway in Capron also will be coming back from a rainout last week when it hosts a pair of 25-lap races on Saturday night for the Tri-Track Modified circuit.
Feature events also are scheduled for four of the track's regular five divisions - Late Model Sportsman, Sportsman, Limited Stock, and Mini Stock. The Hobby Stock class has the week off, but several of the cars will be on display.
Time trials began at 5:45, followed by qualifying heat races at 7.
Track officials said raincheck holders from last week will receive admission to next Saturday's program by presenting their ticket stubs and $2.
CHERRY ON A ROLL: Tommy Cherry of South Mills, N.C., will be bidding for his fourth straight late Model Stock Car feature victory Saturday night at East Carolina Motor Speedway in Robersonville, N.C.
Cherry, a former competitior at Langley, is third in the track's championship standings despite missing a couple events. Hank Jarman of Kinston, N.C., leads the title race with a 204-point lead over Paul Avery.
