VIOLA R. BAKER

{LEAD} Viola Russell Baker, 74, of the 200 block of E. 39th St., died June 16, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.

Mrs. Baker was born in High Point, N.C. She had retired from Norfolk Naval Air Supply Center as a clerk after 20 years. She was a member of Episcopal Church of the Ascension.

{REST} Survivors include her husband, E.C. Baker of Norfolk; two sons, Robert A. Baker of Atlanta, Ga., and Frederick M. Baker of Macon, Ga.; two sisters, Myrtle R. Buck and Dorothy R. Lintaicum, both of High Point; and four grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a sister, Lena R. Nielsen.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Episcopal Church of the Ascension by the Rev. Mark S. Delcuze. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel.

Donations may be made to the Ebenezer Baker Fund of Episcopal Church of the Ascension.
