ALZHEIMER'S GROUP TO PROVIDE INFORMATION

{LEAD} The Hampton Roads Alzheimer's Association and the Virginia Beach Police Department's missing persons squad will sponsor a public information booth at the Lynnhaven Mall today from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There are an estimated 14,000 Alzheimer's patients in Hampton Roads. Organizers hope the booth will provide education about the patients' special needs and the dangers wandering patients may face.
