SEWER FINANCING COMPLETE

{LEAD} The Hyde County Board of Commissioners and Wachovia Bank of North Carolina officials have completed the financing for the construction of the sewer system and water line extension to the North Carolina Department of Corrections Piney Woods prison site.

These expansions are being financed with a $1.9 million revenue bond. The county will repay the debt from income generated by the combined water and sewer project. The county is additionally making improvements to the Fairfield Water Plant which has been financed by Farmers Home Administration.
