Regarding Sara L. Mandelbaum's ``Women would not destroy The Citadel or
VMI'' (Another View, June 7): Clearly women are in full support of both
state-supported schools remaining all-male and their proud tradition of
turning out this country's future leaders. It is, however, the goal of
ultraleft organizations such as the American Civil Liberties Union,
represented by Ms. Mandelbaum, to give the impression of being emissaries for
women.
