JUANA T. VERA

{LEAD} Juana Torrico Vera, 80, a retired seamstress, died June 19, 1994.

She was born in Belmez, Spain, and was the widower of Antonio Vera. She had been employed with AnJay Manufacturing Co. She was a member of the Smile Club at Azalea Baptist Church and of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She was the daughter of the late Irene Garcia Torrico and the late Jose Torrico. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Andrea T. Pietrantozzi and Dolores T. Rollyson; and one brother, George Torrico.

{REST} She is survived by one daughter, Louisa V. Cox of Norfolk; four sisters, Ann Torrico of Beckley, W.Va., Metha T. Crouch of Charleston, W.Va., Julia T. Blackwell of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Matilda T. Greer of Pompano Beach, Fla.; one brother, Pedro Torrico of Beckley, W.Va.; three grandchildren, John J. Cox of Corinth, Tex., P.A. ``Tony'' Cox of Rota, Spain, Andrea C. Amundson of Leakwood, Kan.; two great-grandchildren, Ashley L. Cox of Lewisville, Tex., and Courtney L. Cox of Rota, Spain.

The graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Holloman-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling the arrangements. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and other times at 5927 Lathan Road, Norfolk.
