FRANK A. LUKENS

{LEAD} Frank Alan Lukens, 52, of the 4900 block of Klamath Road, died June 17, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.

He was a native of Natick, Mass., and was employed at Plaza Bowling Lanes. He had retired as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, and was a veteran of Vietnam.

{REST} He is survived by his mother, Ruth Lillian Day Lukens of Norfolk, Mass.; former wife and dear friend, Edna Lukens Miller; two daughters, Daphne Jo Lukens of Casper, Wyo., and Tammy A. Sauder of Virginia Beach; two sons, Philip A. Lukens of Raeford, N.C., and Frank A. Lukens Jr. of Virginia Beach; one sister, Donna DiPlacido of South Walpole, Mass.; two brothers, Philip D. Lukens and David Lukens, both of Norfolk, Mass.; and three granddaughters.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Greenlawn Mausoleum Chapel, with military honors, by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, Wednesday from noon until 12:30 p.m.
