GERTRUDE M. MAGNINO

{LEAD} Gertrude Manchester Magnino, 85, of the 90 block of Munroe Street, died June 20 at the Shady Grove Adventist Hospital. She was the widow of the late Joseph J. Magnino.

Mrs. Magnino was born in Tiverton, R.I., daughter of the late Elmer Manchester and the late Mary Rafferty Manchester. She was a graduate of the former Dominican Academy. She was a communicant of St. Christopher's church in Tiverton, R.I. For many years she was a resident of Kingston, N.Y. and Rockville, Md.

{REST} Survivors include one son, Joseph Magnino of Gaithersburg; two daughters, Gershan Armistead of Portsmouth and Nancy Magnino of Munich, Germany; one sister, Helen M. Kobalski of North Wales, Pa.; and seven grandchildren, John Magnino and Kathleen Park-Silver of Silver Spring, Jay Magnino of Frankfurt, Germany, Deborah and Mark Holzsweig of Portsmouth, Debbie Wadkins of Damascus, Md., and Randy Connellee of Winston-Salem, N.C.

The funeral will be Thursday morning at 8 a.m. at the Jeffrey E. Sullivan Funeral Home, 550 Locust St., Fall River, Mass., followed by a funeral mass in St. Christopher Church, Main Rd., Tiverton, R.I. at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River, Mass. Visiting hours will be held Thursday morning starting at 8 a.m.
