JAMES G. HUNT, JR.

{LEAD} James G. Hunt Jr., 40, of Suffolk, died June 21, 1994, of lung cancer.

He is survived by his mother and father, Betty C. Hunt and James G. Hunt Sr. of Suffolk. Other survivors include a sister, Sherrie H. Gardner, and her husband, Joseph M. Gardner of Chesapeake; a brother, Ronald M. Hunt, and his wife, Heather H. Hunt of Fairfax, and the following nieces and nephews: Susan L. Gardner, John M. Gardner, Joseph M. Gardner Jr., all of Chesapeake, and Zachary H. Hunt, Joshua M. Hunt and Abigail E. Hunt of Fairfax, as well as many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

{REST} Mr. Hunt graduated from John Yeates High School as valedictorian in 1971 and attended the College of William and Mary. He was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Carl LeMon.

Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Baker-Foster Funeral Home Bennetts Creek Chapel.
