GLADYS L. NICHOLSON

{LEAD} Gladys Lee ``Peggy'' Nicholson, 73, of the 6200 block of Natrona Ave., died June 20, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.

Mrs. Nicholson was born in Norfolk. She had retired from Naval Dental Clinic at N.O.B. She was the widow of William E. Nicholson and was a member of Episcopal Church of the Ascension.

{REST} Survivors include a sister, Inez B. Sutton Harris of Norfolk; one nephew, George F. Sutton of Virginia Beach; three great-nieces; and two great-great-nephews; a loving friend and companion, Ernest Irby of Norfolk.

The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Elmwood Cemetery by Fr. Mark S. Delcuze. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and also at the home of Inez Harris, 8186 Tidal Road, Norfolk, at other times.

Memorial donations may be made to the Church of the Ascension.
