In my opinion, most of students' views about segregation are home-bred. They are too young to know about real segregation. I feel that this is something that is taught at home by their parents, relatives and friends - and the schools, a little, because the vast majority of history taught is white history.
{REST} This makes me think about an adage that reminds me of what segregation was like, and still is:
``If you white, you all right,
If you brown, stick around,
If you black, get back.''
