ANTHONY EDWARD ZIENK

{LEAD} Anthony Edward ``Eddie'' Zienk, 75, of the 1300 block of Graham Rd., died early Monday afternoon, June 20th, 1994, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.

Mr. Zienk, a long time resident of Virginia Beach, was a retired salesman for the National Casket Company. He was also retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of distinguished service. During his military career he was the recipient of numerous medals, including the Bronze Star, W.W. II Victory Medal, American and National Defense Service Medals, American Campaign Medal, Army of Occupation Medal, French Fourragere, EAME with Bronze Arrowhead, and Good Conduct Medal.

{REST} He was a member of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus and Swindlers Golf Association. He was an active member of the Church of The Holy Family where he ushered for many years.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Elaine Rosemarie Zienk; his loving daughter, Danielle Zienk Junk of Sperryville, Va.; three sisters, Helen Aring and Sue Babinski of Long Island, N.Y., Marie Patterson of Seal Beach, Calif.; and one brother, Richard Zimmer of Long Island, N.Y.

A funeral service will be conducted in Fort Meyer Memorial Chapel in Arlington National Cemetery Tuesday, June 28, 1994 at 8:45 a.m. with full military honors and a caisson. A memorial service with a Mass of the Resurrection will be held in the Church of The Holy Family, 1279 N. Great Neck Rd. on Thursday, June 30th, at 7 p.m. The family will receive friends at a reception in the social hall following the services. Maestas Funeral Home, Baltic Avenue Chapel, is handling arrangements.
