NICHOLAS L. WOOLERY

{LEAD} Nicholas Lee Woolery, 44, of the 1800 block of N. Lakeland Drive, a retired senior chief, died from cancer on June 21, 1994, in Portsmouth Naval Hospital.

Mr. Woolery was born in Troy, Ohio. He retired from the Navy after 24 years and was retired for two years. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church in Norfolk and lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans Association. He was a devoted husband and father and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

{REST} Survivors include his wife, Tracie Adele Woolery; two daughters, Nicoles Suzanne Woolery and Mary Elizabeth Woolery, both of Norfolk; his mother and stepfather, Elizabeth A. Rees and George Rees of New Port Richey, Fla.; a sister, Barbara Gorrell of Centerville, Ohio; and a brother, Charles F. Woolery of Dayton, Ohio. He was predeceased by his father, Charles F. Woolery.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Norfolk SPCA or the American Cancer Society.
