CLARA E. SCOTT

{LEAD} Clara Edwards Scott, 89, of the 700 block of Norman Ave., died June 22, 1994, in DePaul Medical Center.

Mrs. Scott was born in Almond, N.C., and was former owner and operator of Mercury Skating Rink at Wards Corner. She was a member of Miles Memorial United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star, Ocean View Chapter, and was the widow of Mark A. Scott.

{REST} Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Marietta Edwards of Norfolk and Doris Edwards of Milford, Del.; and 16 nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Miles Memorial United Methodist Church by the Rev. Daniel K. Ivey. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
