CLINTON SUGGESTS DIAMONSTEIN FOR NATIONAL HOUSING ORGANIZATION

{LEAD} President Clinton announced his intent to nominate Newport News resident Alan Diamonstein to the board of directors of the National Corporation for Housing Partnerships. On the board, Diamonstein, who is chairman of the Virginia Housing Study Commission, would help oversee corporation activities concerning construction, rehabilitation and acquisition of housing for people with low to moderate incomes. He is a partner for the law firm Diamonstein and Staley in Newport News.
