ERIC JENKINS

{LEAD} Eric Jenkins, a native of Halifax County died June 22, 1994.

He was a retired employee of the Navy Public Works Center of Norfolk, Va. and had resided in Virginia Beach, Va., prior to returning to Halifax County.

{REST} He was the son of Mrs. Mattie Carter Jenkins and the late Mr. Teat Jenkins and was a member of Roanoke Chapel Baptist Church in Littleton.

Eric is survived by his mother, Mattie Jenkins of the home; two sisters, Shirley Dukes of Norfolk, Va., Bertie Bridgforth of Baltimore, Md.; three brothers, Joe Jenkins of Baltimore, Carlton Jenkins of Dayton, Ohio, and Leon Jenkins of Littleton; four nieces and five nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 26, 1994, at the Roanoke Chapel Baptist Church in Littleton at 2 p.m. Burial will follow on Monday, June 27, 1994 in the Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach.
