WILLIAM R. GRANE

{LEAD} William R. Grane, 72, of the 3700 block of Lynnfield Drive, a retired quality assurance specialist, died June 24, 1994, in a Virginia Beach hospital.

Mr. Grane, a native of Norfolk, was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Virginia Beach. He retired from the Naval Air Rework Facility, Naval Air Station, Norfolk, with 36 years of service and was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.

{REST} Survivors include his wife, Jane C. Grane; a daughter, Debra L. Grane and her husband, Billy Bodner, of Norfolk; a son, Steven R. Grane and his wife, Pam, of Virginia Beach; and two grandchildren, Steven and Bryce Grane.

Services and burial will be private. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Plaza Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 2128, Virginia Beach, Va. 23450, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
