J. EVERETT IRION

{LEAD} J. Everett Irion, 86, of the 3700 block of Sentara Way, a retired certified public accountant, died June 22, 1994, in Virginia Beach.

Mr. Irion was the widower of Margaret M. Irion. He was a writer-lecturer member of the Association for Research and Enlightenment Inc.

{REST} Survivors include one daughter, Doris Irion Powell of Richardson, Texas; two sons, Robert Irion and Gerald Irion, both of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Clyde Irion of Charlottesville, Va.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one stepson, Donald Hansen of Raleigh, N.C.

A funeral will be conducted at 11a.m. Monday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, by the Rev. James Grimmer. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to A.R.E., P.O. Box 595, Virginia Beach, Va. 23451.
