JAMES D. CHAPMAN

{LEAD} James Dudley Chapman, 84, a retired electronics salesman, died Friday, June 24, 1994, in his residence.

Mr. Chapman was born in Knoxville, Tenn. He was a member of Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church, where he was an elder for many years, and was a member of the Norfolk Kiwanis Club.

{REST} Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth M. Chapman; a son and daughter-in-law, Howard Dudley and Janice Chapman of Spring Lake, Mich.; and two grandchildren, Hunter M. Chapman and Christopher D. Chapman of Spring Lake.

A church service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church, Norfolk, by Dr. William Wilson. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
