THOMAS R. ADAMS

{LEAD} Thomas Richard Adams, 67, of the 1600 block of Cree Arch, died June 24, 1994, in Sentara Leigh Hospital.

Mr. Adams was born in Amelia, Va. He had retired from Norfolk Railroad as a conductor and brakeman after 29 years. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, N.C., and Brotherhood of Railroad Norfolk and Western. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

{REST} Survivors include his wife, Erma Jean Adams; two daughters, Teresa D. Taylor and Linda C. Siegel, both of Virginia Beach; two sons, Thomas D. Adams of Norfolk and Kenneth S. Adams of Virginia Beach; two brothers, James A. Adams of Houston and Kerfert B. Adams of Corpus Christi, Texas; and eight grandchildren, Daniel Adams, Agatha Burrows, Travis Taylor, Amy Kipper, April Adams, Christopher Adams, Abigail Taylor and Joshua Siegel.

The graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. R.L. Parker. The family will receive friends and family in Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall, Kempsville Chapel, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday morning prior to the service.
