CLARENCE W. VAUGHAN JR.

{LEAD} Clarence Willie Vaughan Jr., 42, of the 2000 block of Elm Ave., died June 25, 1994, in Portsmouth General Hospital.

Mr. Vaughan was born in Ahoskie, N.C. He was employed with Southeastern Public Service Authority of Virginia (SPSA) as a helper for two years. He was a former member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Suffolk.

{REST} Survivors include his mother, Ernestine P. Epps of Portsmouth; his father, Clarence Willie Vaughan Sr. of Ahoskie, N.C.; two sisters, Lucille Long of Philadelphia, Pa., and Katie Vaughan of Long Branch, N.Y.; two stepsisters, Rosa Roney of New Jersey and Sandy Moore of Portsmouth; his stepfather, Madison Epps of Portsmouth; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Corprew Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. T.M. Steele. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will begin at noon Tuesday in the funeral home.
