She had lived most of her adult life in Dickenson County and had made her home in Chesapeake for the past six years. She was the widow of Duran Ratliff and was a member of Chapter 144, Order of the Eastern Star in Clintwood. She was a retired restaurant operator and waitress.
{REST} She is survived by two sons, Tony M. Ratliff and Danny L. Ratliff, both of Lubbock, Texas; one daughter, Robin L. Looney of Chesapeake; five sisters, Lee Bartley of Miami, Lucille Garcia of Tampa, Fla., Louise Opblinger of Dover, Del., Betty Sue Travers of Perrysburg, Ohio and Gretta Wolford of Toledo, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Lou Emma ``Jane'' Ratliff will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Ron Workman minister officiating. Burial will follow at the Floyd Branham Family Cemetery in the Mill Creek section of Pound. The family will receive friends after 6 p.m. Monday and a song service will be conducted at 7 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
