BRING BACK FAIRNESS

{LEAD} If there were complaints in the past about editorials being slanted toward a liberal point of view, why now go to the opposite extreme?

The editorials and the op-ed page columns are so far right, they're almost off the pages. What's wrong with a balance? We should, on a regular basis, have some conservative, some liberal and some moderate editorials.

{REST} At this point, Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist William Raspberry appears rarely, compared to his more conservative colleagues. By presenting balanced editorial and op-ed pages, you would have something for all segments of your readership.

I would venture to wager that the majority of your subscribers are neither far left nor far right, but some place in between, although not as vocal as the extremes.

Let's bring fairness back to what could be a stimulating editorial section.
