WILLIAM JAMES MARNATI

{LEAD} William James Marnati of North Tonawanda, N.Y., and formerly of Chesapeake, died June 20, 1994.

He was born in Brockway, Pa. He retired nine years ago from Norfolk & Southern Railroad with 38 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Navy.

{REST} Survivors include his fiancee, May Birch of North Tonawanda, N.Y.; six daughters, Peggy Allen of Norfolk, Janet Rathbun of Roanoke, Kathy Llewellyn of Chesapeake, Donna Lutz of Aurora, Colo., Billie Marnati of Chesapeake and Trudy McElraft of Waverly; eight grandchildren, Ronald, Heather and William Allen, Erica Marnati, David Llewellyn, Krista Embury and David and Erik McElraft; one great-granddaughter, Abigayl Allen; six sisters; one brother and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was buried in Brockway, Pa. at St. Tobias Catholic Cemetery on June 23. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association, 2720 River Road, Des Plaines, Ill. 60018.
