VIOLA M. WISE

{LEAD} Viola M. Wise, 63, died June 26, 1994, in a Portsmouth hospital.

Mrs. Wise was born in Fall River, Mass., and was the widow of Charles H. Wise Sr. She was a member of Haygood United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women and was a volunteer for the Red Cross and for her church.

{REST} Survivors include one daughter, Irene W. Coady of Virginia Beach; two sons, Charles H. Wise Jr. of Raleigh, N.C., and Bradford A. Wise of Gloucester, Va.; one brother, Francis Connelly of Fall River, Mass.; and six grandchildren, Amy, Jimmy, Megan, Brad, Erica and Joshua.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Haygood United Methodist Church by the Rev. Allen G. Reifsnyder. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
