MORE VIEWS, PLEASE

{LEAD} I am a 19-year-old subscriber to your newspaper. I look forward daily to reading the editorial page. I am extremely interested in reading others' views concerning political and social issues.

I would classify myself as a moderate liberal who, unlike many liberals, is very tolerant of opposing conservative views. However, your editorial page has a tendency to be one-sided, which is contrary to what a quality editorial page should be.

{REST} It is difficult to find editorials and letters that do not bash Clinton or are not written by ultraconservative religious extremists. I am wondering if you get absolutely no letters containing liberal viewpoints, or if you just don't print them. I opt for the latter.

Your editorial page is very informative at times, and I won't stop reading it. However, I do wish that you would print letters with a wider variety of political and social views.
