GARY ROBERT WETMORE

{LEAD} Gary Robert Wetmore, of the 2200 block of Leeward Shore Drive, died June 28, 1994, at 9:30 p.m.

Gary was born April 6, 1937, in Snoqualmie Falls, Wash. He graduated from Rose Hulman University, Terre Haute, Ind., with a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering. Gary was vice president of Mechanical Equipment Sales, Inc. He was a registered professional engineer in Virginia, and served as a captain in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Gary served as president of the Hampton Roads Chapter of ASHRAE.

{REST} Gary is survived by his wife, Sandra Wrobel Wetmore; three daughters, Laura Lee Shepherd of Atlanta, Ga., Kay Lynn Morris and Michelle Louise Wetmore, both of Virginia Beach; two grandsons, Colin Dale Shepherd and James Hunter Morris; and one brother, James Wetmore of Palm Harbor, Fla.

The family will receive friends between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 1994, in the Taylor-Keister Hall at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1489 Laskin Road, Virginia Beach. A memorial service will follow in the sanctuary at 6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.
