HAROLD RAY

{LEAD} Harold Ray, 66, of the 7400 block of Rosefield Drive, a retired auto mechanic, died June 28, 1994, in his residence.

Mr. Ray, a native of Aberdeen, N.C., was retired from Greenbrier Chrysler. He was a former member of First Baptist Church Bute Street, Norfolk.

{REST} Survivors include one sister, Sadie M. Bynum; one niece, Lynda M. Ray; one great-niece, Shelia Ray and one great-nephew, Ricardo Ray, all of Suffolk; a devoted friend, Helen Whitney of Norfolk; and several cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Estelle Coston.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Oaklawn Cemetery by the Rev. Tommie Whitehead. Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
